FORGOTTEN FELINES

Forgotten Felines is a Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR) program that includes spay/neuter, ear tip, rabies vaccination, and mite treatment for feral and free-roaming cats in and around the Bedford area. While our partner vets do this work and charge a small fee, we offer borrowing of traps.

How it works:

1. You, the resident, must trap the cat.  You may borrow a trap from BHS with a completed loaner contract if you do not already have a trap.  Cat carriers are not accepted at our partner clinics.

2. You may choose to bring the cat to one of the participating clinics below.

3. The cost to the resident varies from clinic to clinic. This process includes a spay or neuter, ear tip, treatment for fleas and ticks, and a rabies vaccination.  All cats participating in this program will have one ear tipped to indicate feral spay/neuter status.

5. The cat is returned to you post surgery and you release it back into its original environment.
